Well I resorted to finding what looked like a perfect chiffon dress on E-Bay, brand new, in champagne color. Gorgeous and I was pretty positive it would fit. Today I repacked it to send it back to the seller along with the following note:

I hate hate hate shopping for clothes. Nothing looks any good on me.
I had to ask Shannon why she was laughing so hard in the other room.
Maybe they can change to wedding to something outdoorsy and you can do the jeans thing.
OMG! I know the feeling. Had to buy a dress for our 4 daughters weddings. Hated it every time! Good luck and remember no one cares what you look like, it's all about the bride. Just have fun and enjoy yourself.
Years ago I just started wearing a sheet to dressy events. If you accessorize with enough bling, people hardly ever notice.
People just assume your channeling your inner Roman and you're being trend setter.
Wear it proudly.
I knew that I should have contacted you, Michelle, for your advice. I did contemplate the sheet, or a tent, or a paint drop cloth for the artistic look. Next time, I will be ready.
