Well, Jeanne has gone off her rocker with her N entry. Perhaps my brain is on overload. Perhaps it's this virus I have had all week. But every N word I thought of had to fit into the tune of "These Are a Few of My Favorite Things."
Julie Andrews |
So as you hum along with these ridiculous phrases of words, think....The Sound of Music!
Written expressly for the Austrian ambiance of the movie. I think they should use this one.
Knockwurst and Knickers and Nine Naked Noodles |
This one is for the young comic going on stage for the first time.
Neophyte Knock-Kneed and Namelessly Nauseous |
For the overabundance of plastic surgery.
Nip and tuck, Nip and tuck, Nip and tuck Ninny |
I dedicated this to the Three Stooges.
Nagging and Numskulls and Nearsighted Nitwits |
For a hummingbird....
Nature, Narcissus, and Nibbles of Nectar |
Now that I have finished my N post I am hoping this tune will pass on to my readers, because my brain is overloaded with "My Favorite Things." Will you be one of those lucky readers?

Wonderful, what imagination. hope you're feeling better.
Enjoy your week-end.
Yvonne.
Thanks a lot Jeanne! I'm going to my HS reunion tonight. Now I'll be floating around the room with that song in my head acting like I'm Julie Andrews!
Thanks for visiting my blog-- I returned the visit and couldn't believe how hard I laughed at your "N" entry. Love it! Now Julie Andrews will be serenading me all day today!! Wonderful blog!
The Sounds of Music is one of my favorite movies of all time! I like your photos and singing along to the tune of my favorite things :-)
So fun! You should do this with each letter of the alphabet. Then we'd definitely have that song stuck in our heads. Thank you.
Am now humming the song...did I take a little bit of it from you? My favorite "N" word is nutella. Yum!!!
I hate it a tune gets stuck in my head.
You've really done it now LOL - everyone's going around singing it, the whole of the internet's singing it! I'll dream of it tonight and there's not even an "N" word in the whole of the lyrics! Is there?
Wouldn't that be cool if the whole world was singing it? Then we could do like a Coke Commercial for our writing and make a ton of money. As for the N word in the real lyrics I don't really know. Hmm. More research
Oh wait I just thought of schnitzel with NOODLES. Of course, I used noodles also. Couldn't help it. It's a great word.
Well, I did post one of my favorite things with the Star Trek poster today...
Sound of Music is one of my favorite movies too! Thanks for visiting and following me. I will do the same. Feel better! Julie
So funny! And thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope the road runners will come back this year. I love them too.--Inger
Love the pic of the hummingbird! They're beautiful.
Fun blog, with great photos.

Naughtily Nice.
I didn't see "The Sound of Music" until I was in my 40s. I'm thinking this is a sad commentary on my life.
Such a fun way of approaching the A to Z :-)
I'll definitely be back for more :-)
I'm humming...... Great and original post.
